Renewable energy solutions provider Suzlon Energy Ltd on Friday announced that it has bagged an order from global power producer BrightNight to set up a 29.4 MW wind power project.

This is the company’s first order win from BrightNight, Suzlon Energy said in a stock exchange filing.

BrightNight is developing a 100 MW wind-solar project in Maharashtra. Under this, Suzlon said it will set up 14 units of its S120 – 140m wind turbine generators with a rated capacity of 2.1 MW each in Osmanabad, Maharashtra.
